As this is the twentieth anniversary year of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the National Library of Scotland and the British Library in London organised a number of events over the course of the year to celebrate the phenomenon of the Harry Potter books. These are some notes from the two exhibitions I visited, the one at the NLS in June and at the British Library starting October.
